Vanzonhoven is an ongoing film project, made together with Paul Braspenning, that takes place in a self-built set. The walls consist of wooden partitions covered with a tile pattern. The window gives a view of a shopping street; in reality, this is a picture measuring six by three and a half meters. The video plays with the fact that the main character, the shopkeeper, may not completely exist in reality, by occasionally exposing elements of the set.
